Add sensory detail, small numbers, and contrast to keep interest high. Use the ready lines, trackers, and drills to plan fast, speak smoothly, and finish on time without rambling.

Module 1 — Hook Menu (pick one line to open)

  1. Snapshot hook: Last winter, I was stuck at a tiny rural station.
  2. Contrast hook: I usually ignore gadgets, but this one changed my routine.
  3. Number hook: In three steps, it solved my problem.
  4. Question hook: Have you ever missed a flight by minutes
  5. Quote hook: My father says, save time and you save stress.
  6. Surprise hook: I learned more from a five minute chat than a whole course.
  7. Scene hook: The room smelled like old books and fresh coffee.

Module 2 — Arc Patterns you can reuse

A. Before After Lesson
Before: life or habit. After: change. Lesson: what you learned.
Use for habits, skills, routines.

B. Problem Solution Result
Problem line. Action you took. Result and feeling.
Use for events, projects, journeys.

C. Journey Turnpoint Outcome
Start. Turning moment. Outcome and reflection.
Use for trips, meetings, interviews.

D. Object Use Impact
What it is. How you use it. Impact on your day.
Use for gadgets, books, tools.

Module 3 — 120 second timeline

  • 0 to 10 sec: Hook plus topic
  • 10 to 35 sec: Background
  • 35 to 75 sec: Main idea with two details
  • 75 to 100 sec: Short example story
  • 100 to 115 sec: Result or lesson
  • 115 to 120 sec: Clean closing line

Closers: In short, it still helps me today. Overall, that day shaped my thinking.

Module 4 — Cue card to arc map

Use this fill tool when the card asks what, where, when, why.

What → name it in one line.
Where and when → one short detail each.
Why → pick arc A or B.
Add one example and one result.
End with a lesson or future plan.

Module 5 — Expansion bricks that add seconds

  • Sensory brick: sight, sound, smell.
  • Contrast brick: while X was noisy, Y felt calm.
  • Number brick: two reasons, three steps.
  • Cause brick: this mattered because it saved time.
  • Mini reflection: I realised I had been wasting hours.

Use at most two bricks per story.

Module 6 — Linkers that sound natural

Add: also, in addition, besides
Contrast: however, while, whereas
Cause: because, since, as
Result: so, therefore, as a result
Time: at first, later, finally
Example: for example, for instance

Rotate families and avoid repeating one word too often.

Module 7 — Fluency safeguards

  • One idea per sentence.
  • Prefer simple past for the story and present for the lesson.
  • Use this and these to avoid repetition.
  • Pause silently instead of saying um.
  • Aim for 9 to 11 sentences in a 120 second turn.

Module 8 — Ready outlines for three common cards

Describe a useful object
Hook: Surprise hook
Arc: Object Use Impact
Lines: what it is, where you got it, two features, small limit, result, lesson.

Describe a person who helped you
Hook: Quote hook
Arc: Problem Solution Result
Lines: context, problem, how they helped, outcome, how you apply the advice now.

Describe a place you like to study
Hook: Scene hook
Arc: Before After Lesson
Lines: setting detail, routine before, new routine now, effect on focus, short story, lesson.

Module 9 — Template cards you can paste

Main idea: A shop owner drew a tiny map and gave one tip.
Detail 1: Avoid the main road at noon.
Detail 2: Take the lane behind the tea stalls.
Story: I followed his plan and reached the museum in ten minutes.
Result: I saved time and stayed calm in the heat.
Lesson: Ask local people and listen carefully.
Closing: That five minute chat still guides how I travel.

Module 11 — Micro drills with keys

A. Build a hook from a plain line
Plain: I missed my bus.
Hook: Two minutes late, I watched my bus leave.

B. Add one brick
Base: The library is quiet.
Add: The library is quiet. The smell of paper helps me focus.

C. Tighten the ending
Base: That is all.
Fix: In short, the habit still improves my day.

9: rewrite the closing line.
10: record again and save the better take.
